We are looking for someone who will be able to travel between all of these locations on a regular basis, as well as manage, support, and grow their team.
Key
Responsibilities:
The Regional Director of Operations is an experienced operational executive and is responsible for the effective and successful management of multiple groups of senior living communities.
The Director will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the group of homes while leading a team of professionals to achieve an exceptional resident and team member experience and meet established operational, financial and business performance goals.
The position is both strategic, financial, and operational in nature leading the development of and responsible for the implementation of comprehensive business plans, programs, initiatives, and strategies that promote the achievement of optimum operational, financial, and business performance of the company.
The Director is also responsible for assuring adherence to all applicable company policies and procedures and state, local, and federal laws and regulations.
Essential Functions:
Provide leadership in strategic planning and the development of priorities, objectives, and measurable goals to ensure continued long-term success of organization Hire, train, and supervise regional management within organizational guidelines and culture Develop business plans to increase revenue and promote business growth Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with residents, residents' families, staff, corporate office, and community constituents, including business associates in the areas of health care/acute care, education/training organizations, third-party consultants and contractors, and the general public, reflecting organizational values of care, integrity, and respect Coordinate the development, negotiation, implementation, and periodic review of agreements for contract services from external sources Cultivate a culture of care and service throughout staff and community Maintain regular and open lines of communication with direct reports and all staff in order to provide direction, guidance, and general information as needed Observe safe facility practices at all times while implementing and enforcing regulations, policies, and procedures Assure departmental and community compliance with all Resident Rights regulations Maintain good interdepartmental and employee relations while ensuring a high level of customer service Partner with marketing teams to ensure that marketing plans and financial/occupancy targets are achieved as budgeted Required
Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree in business or health related field Hold an Oregon state license required to operate an Assisted Living Facility/Community, or willing to get one.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Assisted Living/Healthcare is required Demonstrated at least 2 years of individual facility experience and at least 2 years of multi-facility or regional operations experience in senior living or health care related field Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations Positive reputation in the state of Oregon and good working relationship with regulatory groups preferred Openness to regular travel, including visits to communities and corporate office Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, organization and staffing experience, technical skills, financial planning and budget skills Demonstrated leadership and management skills, as well as business acumen and strategic thinking Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
Up to $85,000.
