SUMMARY This position is responsible for supporting general services of the IT Department.
This position completes a multitude of administrative tasks and provides project support as needed.
Must have the aptitude to assist with and solve technical issues.
The Technical Administrative assistant must be flexible and responsive to direction from team leaders within the company and have a work attitude that promotes cooperative department and interdepartmental relationships.
Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB DUTIES may include other duties as assigned.
Gathers and analyzes reports and data provided by others to produce summarized, presentable reports for management review for the development and improvement of policies, processes, and programs.
Provides efficient, accurate, high-level technical administrative support for the IT Department and the organization in general.
Works independently to complete multiple responsibilities in a timely manner and accurately follows direction.
May be asked to assist with special projects for other Department Managers at the discretion of the Manager of IT.
Assists with meeting coordination and general correspondence, both internally and externally.
Schedules accordingly and supports meetings as requested.
Reviews business processes and provides recommendations for efficiency improvements.
Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all matters of personnel and matters identified as confidential in the context of corporate operation and planning.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include other duties as assigned.
Maintains the Mobile Device Management (MDM) System.
Ensures an up to date system for the effective management of all UEC mobile devices.
Maintains the UEC phone system; ensuring accounts are up to date timely, staying abreast of new features, providing training and support on features, trouble-shooting technical difficulties, etc.
Gathers and delivers information and details for monthly Board reports.
Drafts reports with self-directed research including the formulation and identification of trends.
Self-direction is required.
Assists with effectively administering the IT service desk.
Monitors and analyzes requests, and makes recommendations for improving processes, services, and IT service support.
Assists with IT service support to UEC end-users; solving issues in a timely and effective manner.
Develops IT related training materials; proactively schedules and administers individual and group training sessions, as appropriate, for new processes, procedures, and/or software as it relates the IT department.
Assists with the coordination of system upgrades or changes, communicating clearly to all pertinent personnel leading up to, during, and after the upgrade or change.
Directs and assists staff and other departments with detailed operation evaluation of events, practices, and equipment.
Serves as the point of contact when the IT Manager is out of the office.
Provides back-up functions as needed or assigned.
Works with management on departmental budgets and requisitions.
Reviews, codes and approves vendor invoices.
Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills required in working with members, customers, or coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Establishes and maintains in good order, in accordance with standard administrative procedures, necessary files for the IT Department and Organization in general.
Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
Respectfully takes direction from management.
Conducts themselves in a manner that reflects well on UEC and contributes to harmonious relations with members and the general public.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Education:
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; additional related experience may be substituted for education.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of technical support/administrative assistant/secretarial experience.
Electric Cooperative experience is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
